Distances and Categories: 25 km (Male/Female: under-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) 10 km (Male/Female: recreational one category) 5 km (Male/Female: recreational one category, 10-13) 3 km (Male/Female: 6-9) 1.5 km Children's Run (under 5 years) - register on site only ($5.00 at the start line)
Barbeque! Join us for a barbeque and awards ceremony after the race at the Nipika Day Lodge. BBQ is included with race registration and additional tickets can be purchased on site.
Awards are presented for all age classifications and distances and there are lots of great draw prizes.
Course: The 25 km course incorporates a 10 km and a 15 km loop, all along the Kootenay and Cross Rivers. The 10 km is a predominantly single track loop (get out quickly if you want to run fast). The 5 km, 3 km and 1.5 km loops incorporate some single track and stay very close to the Nipika Meadow area.

Nipika Mountain Challenge Nipika Mountain Resort hosts four events annually: The Nipika Classic Loppet, the Toby Creek Nordic Skate Loppet, The Nipika Crazy Soles Trail Run and the Kootenay Krusher Mountain Bike Endurance event. New in 2013, Nipika Mountain Resort is offering a two night stay for two people to the male and female individuals who have the best cumulative time for participating in all FOUR events. Everybody who participates in all four events will receive a special momento. Challenge yourself!
