We had a great time. Loved the trails for biking and walking and, as ever, Lyle was genuine, engaging and made some great recommendations for our biking and walking. It was perfect!

Thank you Bev!  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Rocky Mtn Cabin accommodated our every need!  We had great weather, took advantage of the sunny deck during the day and the beautiful clear sky at night.  What a beautiful piece of property you guys have out there, I am actually looking into planning a winter  ski weekend for my family sometime in February!

Hi Lyle and Bev,
 
It has been over 4 months since our wedding at Nipika, and we have been meaning to get in touch for far too long to thank you for what was a truly magical weekend.
 
The help that you both provided in the planning and execution of our wedding was invaluable...you were both incredibly supportive from the very first phone calls that we made in August...and helped us so much every step of the way. -Bev, I really enjoyed all of our many phone calls and felt a little sad after the wedding that I wouldn't be hearing your kind voice and excellent advice!
 
The wedding weekend itself was more wonderful than we could ever have imagined. -It was a true gift to be able to spend a beautiful, snowy, outdoor weekend with our friends and family...and to be able to settle into the beauty that is Nipika; to get cozy in the gorgeous cabins, explore the splendour of the ski trails, to share scrumptious food and to be welcomed by your warm hospitality. -Oh yeah, and to get married in the midst of all of that!
 
Lyle, your help, flexibility and patience in welcoming all of the guests, helping us to find just the right spot for our 'circle', building a fire, offering to lead a night ski (though darn it we just couldn't get that going!) was amazing. -Your kind, relaxed style made everyone feel so welcome, comfortable and well-taken care of.
 
We are also grateful to Diane for all of her support...and to the caterers. -We have received many many rave reviews of the food; people could hardly believe the excellent quality and professional set up and display.
 
Nathan and I both agree that our weekend was the best weekend of our lives...and we are so grateful for the important role that you played in making it happen.
 
We hope that you have a great spring...and look forward to seeing you again. -I am sure that Nipika will be part of our tradition..anniversaries, perhaps!!

Every trip out to Nipika brings adventure, good company and great scenery...can't wait for the next trip.

We have just finished a long weekend at Nipika for Nicki's 40th birthday and were once again mighty impressed at the place and the people of Nipika.

Thanks again Lyle for your mild mannered and friendly yet unobtrusive hosting and for the help Bev gave in organising the event - its not easy getting around 50 people in one place.

The location was stunning as always and the kids particularly enjoyed the lake and the mud in particular ..... think the parents would prefer the sandy beach idea from a laundry perspective though.

The main lodge is a fabulous spot to stay and the barn turned out to be a great party location with play area where ball games were enjoyed and a spacious seated fire area.

A great weekend that everyone has commented positively about - those that were first timers are already planning their next trip back - see you next time

What a piece of paradise. The cabins were great, comfy and cozy and lots of room. Loved the sauna, hot tub and the fires at night... so much fun. Can't wait to come back.

I just wanted to send you a short note to personally thank you for hosting Solium this past weekend. I know Nipika has been a labor of love for you and your family and I wanted you to know that it really has become such a positive experience for many at Solium that partake in our annual excursion. I have received nothing but positive comments from all the staff that attended and they really feel Nipika is a unique getaway and an opportunity to recharge the batteries in a pristine environment. I marvel at your commitment to host and welcome those that visit your facility and it is a truly big part of what makes Nipika such a neat place to visit.

Thank you Lyle for hosting team Solium and making sure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable time. Sorry a picnic table had to be sacrificed...but it was neat to see! You're building something great and I know you have a busy summer ahead with some of the projects you mentioned.

All of us that stayed here had a great time. Roofus really is a wonderful dog. Everything from the cozy cabin to the hot tub was awesome. I would love to come back sometime. Not only that, but the kayak trip was amazing. Seeing all the eagles and osprey and the beaver that swam under my kayak… it was all perfect.

We both had a great time at the Cross River Cabin. We had a wonderful time kayaking down the river and looking out for bald eagles with Lyle! The cabin was very nice and comfy… Thank you for everything. We will surely come back again.

Thanks for the fabulous time - the skiing was amazing and you have won the hearts of our girls on this great sport. We loved the sled, hot tub, sauna and those great massages! It doesn't get any better on the weather and scenery. We'll be back!

This is just the sort of place a soul needs. I'm not sure anyone can quite say in words what wild spaces, fresh air, great sleeps and such genuine hospitality does for a person. All I know is how good I feel after a few days. Can't wait to come back again. Love it in the winter and the spring flowers were amazing too. Thanks!

We came as a group of 30 for a company getaway! We all had a fantastic time and will definitely come back! This is a hidden treasure.

Day 1: Six guys arrived yesterday from Cincinnati, Ohio with open jaws and wide eyes. We're amazed at the beauty of the mountains and the hospitality of Nipika. 
Day 2: Hiked up Mt. Kindersley. The fellas summitted it. A highlight of the trip. 
Day 3: White Swan Lake Hotsprings - relaxing. 
Day 4: Kayaked the Columbia River. We saw loads of wildlife and enjoyed the river. 
Day 5: Biked around Nipika. If you go south or north along the river you will see many great waterfalls and views. Check out the Canyon Bridge and the Natural Bridge - both are great picture opportunities,

The only thing more spectacular than the scenery was the hospitality.

A wonderful place for Christmas! A perfect setting, warm cozy lodge and the 12' tree was the finishing touch. A Christmas we'll never forget.

This is a bit of paradise in this hectic world. What a beautiful place to spend with family. We had a beautiful time and would love to return.

An amazing place; we all had a wonderful time canoeing with our great host Lyle, and early night and then a fantastic hike over the natural bridge up and down unbelievable terrain. The beautiful scenery, the amazing river and colours of the rocks, the gorge and so many other fantastic views. Back to the cabin and into the hottub and sauna. What more could you ask for. The peace and quiet and the majestic mountains made our holiday an amazing time. We will be back. Thank you Lyle!

Yah! We're married - on the steps of the lodge on the most beautiful day ever. Thanks so much.

Last time here was 21 years age! Still sitting in the meadow overlooking the valley at the deep green forest sea! Thanks Lyle for preserving the dream!!

Wow! What a place and what a welcome. Our names at the cabin and special transportation for out luggage. We were here for five days for a small family reunion after a wedding. It was very nice being here. We loved the views, the area, the deck and of course the dogs and horses. It felt like we had our own little farm. Thanks to Lyle for telling us about the nice trails and all the other nice things to know. We did two hikes, went rafting, have very nice meals from the BBQ and sat at the fire and of course had lots of catching up to do. We loved it.

Amazing! The scenery is fabulous! The cabin feels like a palace! Great place for family reunions - what a place to spend summer!

I've had a wonderful time catching up with my family over Christmas in this amazing place! The hottub with champagne was a great way to recover the bumps and bruises of Mt. Sedmore and the walk to Canyon Bridge. It's been relaxing in quiet surroundings, a change from London life. Thanks to Lyle and his staff.

Nipika is a great place to chill out and ski hard. I just need to go fishing here next time in the summer.

Thank you for sharing an amazing quiet, beautiful spot. You thought of every detail. Couldn't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. We'll be back with the kids.

This is an amazing place in every aspect. Although we have yet to master the art of going downhill on x-country skis, we managed to have a fantastic time - the perfect break from University. Mt. Sledmore and that little yellow toboggan (watch out), shimmy on the pond with Steve (who needs the NHL), a ridiculous amount of board games, some truly beautiful skiing, and a hottub under the stars. The weather gave us perfect clear skies and wicked views. Big thanks to Lyle, Steve and crew for giving us a clean, comfy cabin and a great time. We'll be back!

What a perfect place for a wedding! The hospitality, the cabins, the food, the pond, the hottub, the sauna, the bonfire, the incredible scenery... thanks for a great weekend.

Came here for some rest and relaxation and got that and so much more. Lyle and Dianne along with the staff were great. The cabins were very well kept and perfect for us. Hikes during the day, Jacuzzi in the afternoon and wine and elk in the early evening; what more could you want? We will be back only next time with more friends and family to share the wonderful memories with. Until then, MAHALO & ALOHA.

Once again we enjoyed the refuge Nipika offers us "city-types". Enjoyed the usual bikes and runs on the trails. This trip we also tried Mitchell Ridge and the first hump (straight up, straight down) - but great views as a reward! It was a special treat to see a mama and baby black bear on Settler's Road yesterday between the 4 & 5 km markers. Had great weather all week except for a tremendous thunderstorm (good lightening). Great stars by the campfire on Wed night!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot with all of us. This made a special celebration for the family even more special. With the gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery, this wedding weekend will hold fantastic memories for all of us.
