Nipika Learn to X-C Ski Week (January 20 – 27, 2008)

Cross-Country Ski Lessons ( December thru March)
Nipika's Ski School is directed by Lyle Wilson who was Olympic cross-country ski coach for Canada in the 1988 and 1992 Winter Games. Lessons take place on Nipika's professionally groomed 50-kilometre trail system.

Guided 1/2 Day Interpretive Snowshoes Tours (Dec. thru March)

Fun for the family - kids under 12 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Snowshoes are included for the Winter hikes. Wetlands Paddling (May thru September)

Paddle & Hike Adventure Week (July thru September)

Guided Alpine Day Hikes (May thru September)

Canoe the Kootenay River

This daytrip offers spectacular scenery, great wildlife viewing opportunities, and interesting paddling. Accompany our naturalist/guides for a great day on the river. Whitewater Rafting (mid May thru mid September)

Nipika in conjunction with Kootenay River Runners, offers daily whitewater rafting trips on the Kootenay river, leaving right from your doorstep at Nipika.
