Nipika Mountain Resort - Welcome to the Canadian Rockies

Trails

Nipika is set amid a 50-kilometre scenic trail network built and maintained for cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking and trail running. The trails are set along the beautiful Kootenay and Cross River valleys, with many scenic vistas, waterfalls and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The Natural Bridge Trails are a joint venture operated by Nipika Rocky Mountain Resort in partnership with the BC Forest Service. The trail network spans across 1500 acres and is designated as a non-motorized Forest Service Recreation Site specifically for skiers, cyclists, hikers and runners.

During cross-country ski season, the trails are regularly professionally groomed for both Classic & Skate Skiing. The trails from the lodge to the Cross River are predominantly beginner to intermediate, while the trails across the Natural Bridge on the north side of the Cross River are intermediate to expert.

Nipika's hosts are glad to advise visitors on memorable routes, and also lead guided tours.

Trails fees $10.00 for adults & $6.00 for children 12 & under.
