Rocky Mountain Cabin

This cabin is perfect for group events among friends, families, or work colleagues.

The Rocky Mountain Cabin, Nipika’s largest, is an impressive timber frame log cabin accommodating up to 13 guests. It was the first cabin built as an accommodation in 1998.

The main floor features a full-size and fully-equipped kitchen, large dining area, and great room with stone fireplace just waiting for guests to sit down and reminisce about their adventures. It has two bedrooms on the upper level and a pullout couch in the loft, two bedrooms on the lower level, beds for four more in the open room downstairs, and two full bathrooms.

The icing on the cake is the large, covered front porch—perfect for enjoying those mountain views and valley of Kootenay National Park. It comes with BBQ, and many options to sit and relax.

 

Sleeps up to 13 guests. Minimum two night stay.

North Side

Mitchell Cabin

Nipika Rocky Mountain cabins - Mitchell Cabin

The Mitchell River Cabin sits at the top of the meadow, overlooking the Kootenay River Valley. Catch the sunrise from the covered deck on the second level.

This cabin sleeps six: one bedroom with a queen bed, an upstairs loft with two single beds, and a queen hide-a-bed on the main floor. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, and BBQ on the porch.

 

Sleeps 6. Two night minimum stay.

Tegart Cabin

Nipika Rocky Mountain cabins - Tegart Cabin

The Tegart Cabin is a wheelchair accessible unit with beautiful views across the meadow. It has an access ramp, adapted bathroom, fully-equipped adapted kitchen, and a bedroom on the main floor. The light switches are lower, and doors on the main floor are wide enough for wheelchairs.

It sleeps eight with one bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, a queen hide-a-bed on the main floor, and four single beds in the loft. There is also a wood fireplace and BBQ on the front porch.

 

Sleeps 8. Two night minimum stay.

Richter Cabin

The Richter Cabin, nestled in the trees, has sunny views to the south overlooking the Kootenay River Valley. Enjoy the sunshine from the front porch or deck off the loft.

The cabin sleeps six: one bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with two single beds, and a queen hide-a-bed on the main floor. Enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, and BBQ on the deck.

Bergeron Cabin

The Bergeron Cabin is surrounded by trees and captures beautiful sunsets.

It sleeps eight with a queen hide-a-bed on the main floor, two single beds in the open loft, and two bedrooms on the second floor (one with a queen bed and one with two single beds). The rest of the cabin includes a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, wood-burning stove, and BBQ on the porch.

Bill Yearling Cabin

Nipika Resort - Rocky Mountain Accommodation - Bill Yearling Cabin

If walls could talk… the historic Bill Yearling Cabin, one of the first homes in the entire Kootenay River Valley, has been home to trappers, homesteaders, roust-a-bouts, mountain wanderers, and cross-country skiers. It has been beautifully restored into a studio unit with a large wraparound deck featuring spectacular views of the Rockies.

It has a hand-built queen bed, queen hide-a-bed, fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and BBQ on the deck. It’s the perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, or romantic getaway.

South Side

Kootenai Cabin

This beautifully placed cabin looks west over the meadow at the Stanford Range.

The Kootenai Cabin sleeps eight with one bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, a loft with two twin beds, and a queen hide-a-bed in the living room. It also has a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, wood burning stove, and BBQ on the porch.

Palliser Cabin

Sit on the second floor balcony of the Palliser Cabin and watch the sun set over the Rockies.

The Palliser sleeps eight with three bedrooms (one on the main floor with two single beds, one on the upper level with a queen bed, and a second on the upper level with two single beds) and two single beds in the loft. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, wood burning stove, and BBQ on the front porch.
