At Nipika you will meet an eclectic group of energetic people who walk the walk of the Nipika philosophy. We have a dedicated group of staff and partners with a firm belief in this non-consumptive eco-resort.
 | Lyle has a lifetime of leadership in sport and outdoor recreation. Lyle's background includes two Olympic Games as a coach with the Canadian Cross Country Ski Team, founder of the "Fresh Air Experience" outdoor stores, as well as national level competition in canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing. Lyle is an avid skier, runner and mountain biker, is a competent mountaineer, and keen naturalist. Most of all Lyle is a laid back character who loves to tell stories in the sauna or hot tub at the end of a long adventurous day. |
| | | (Lyle's better half) is the quiet backbone of the Wilson family and Nipika. Dianne is a Phys. Ed. & Education graduate who has retired from teaching school to pursue her many goals at Nipika. She is a keen runner and cross country skiing, and is an enthusiastic horsewoman. Dianne has a good eye for the many subtle beauties that surround us in the Rockies, and will spot many things on outings that most would miss, so if you get the chance to go for a run hike or ski with Dianne at Nipika, don't miss it. |
| | | (yes, this is a family operation) is our builder. The buildings here are designed and constructed right on site, and it is Steve's energy and dedication to detail, that have made our facilities so memorable. All of the wood furnishings are a tribute to Steve, but it is the trail system that is his "piece de resistance." Since he was a little boy, Steve has worked on building the Natural Bridge Trails. He is an accomplished groomer for cross country skiing, so you can be confident that ski conditions will always be at their best. |
| | | Our office manager, an avid runner, the voice on the phone, answering all your questions about your Nipika experience. Bev has a long career in Tourism and Resort management. She never misses a detail to insure that your vacation is truly a memorable one. |
| | | Jesus Murphy, Rufus, and Titan To anybody who has visited Nipika, these three need no introduction. They are our guides, babysitters, companions, and playmates. They are also the Nipika dogs. They must be experienced to be understood. |
| | | These seven volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that the vision of Nipika is maintained and that the utmost is done to grow and operate a first rate eco-resort. The board brings to Nipika a vast resource of creativity, business experience and philosophical guidance. |
